A few months ago I had a friend say to me, "man, you've really had a long run of bad luck".
Looking back over the past two years, this sentiment is inarguable. Such is life. These experiences have caused me to grow stronger, more confident in my abilities, more resilient and more grateful than I've ever been.
Nonetheless, I can't help but feel everything that has happened in my recent life has been purposely pushing me down a different path. And I have come to the inescapable conclusion that it is time for me to wipe the slate clean and actualize another one of my dreams.
I'm leaving Atlanta. My home for the past nineteen years.
I'll be leaving behind family, best friends, and a lot of good people who have shaped my life and experience. People who will remain close to my heart for as long as I breath. This isn't to say, I won't be coming back to visit. Only that there will be a few miles in between.
As of April, 2014, I'll be bound for my new home...
Seattle.
(Figured if I am going to move, I may as well go big.)
I'm overwhelmed and excited for the promise that lies ahead.
